Interpreting

Rendering every message ever so faithfully from American Sign Language to any of the spoken languages we currently offer and vise versa.

We are exceptionally skilled in the department of spoken foreign languages for on-site interpreting in combination with American Sign Language. Currently we have a multitude of trilingual interpreters.

Spoken Language
Low Vision

Some deaf and/or hard of hearing persons that have begun to lose their vision require special services to be provided. One of these services is providing close proximity interpreting.

Tactile

This form of communication is the means in which an individual that is deaf-blind can best understand the conversation at hand. They deserve not to miss a thing: whether visual or auditory.

Minimal Language

Due to lack of prior education, some deaf individuals have the need of using idiosyncratic gestures, only understood by interpreters that are skilled in drama, gestures, pantomime, and various other forms of visual communication.

Oral Transliterating

Although less common, deaf individuals that do not use any signed language as a mode of communication require silent mouth interpreting. This is accompanied by certain facial expressions and appropriate gesturing.

Simultaneous

Used most frequently, this type of interpreting allows the fastest rendition of a message possible. Throughout a simultaneous interpretation, the conversation will be able to proceed without too many delaying pauses.

Consecutive

This manner of interpretation is not used often but is sometimes requested for certain situations requiring interpreters to listen to long speeches or carried out dialogue and take notes in order to project what was being said once the speaker has finished.

CART

Communication Access Realtime Translation is a speech to text service provided for deaf and hard of hearing persons to be viewed instantly on one or more computer and/or a projector as the text is being streamed for an individual or group to see.

This is the most commonly recognized type of realtime captioning and also the most popular; with the advantage of being able to shut on and off the visual display of all words and sounds that are present on a video, typically television broadcasting.

Closed Captioning
Open Captioning

In a case of an emergency or even for breaking news, open captions are used in order to provide the essential information at hand to be displayed with all words and sounds present in what is being said without the option to shut it off.

Video Transcription

Most videos in today's day and age go without captioning or transcription. Now, any and all videos or even movies of any length can be captioned and/or transcribed to provide access whether it be for one single person or for a room full of people in need of access, we can provide it.
